A little sad saying bye to Helayna & Anthony, Chloe & Dan and the littllies Noah and Wolfe and Kym. I forgot how crazy life is with the girls and miss them already..
Quite interesting keeping an eye on Mount Taranaki. driving anti-clockwise around the mountain then seeing it from the South after spending a week looking at it from the North.

Stopped off for petrol and pie Hawera.. Population :big enough for Mc Donalds And KFC!!

Arrived at Waiinu beach with howling winds. The campsite had an honesty box to pay the overnight fee of $10. Our van was rocked around all night until the early hours of the morning (no satellite TV to be had tonight as we feared the plate would fly away!)

Woke to a gorgous sunny morning; a walk down the beach to see the seal colony – clearly it was a no-seal day this day as there were no seals to be found.
Still, was a great walk down the driftwood beach.
